Are you ready to become a Kingsway Knight?

A letter from our president...

Dear Prospective Parent,

Welcome to Kingsway Christian Academy. It is a tremendous joy for us to work together in providing an education with a spiritual emphasis.

In addition to a quality education, our goal at KCA is to provide our students with a personal knowledge of God, to teach Christian principles and to help them develop their Christian character. Our main goal is the spiritual development of a student to meet his or her fullest potential in Christ. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

We want everything we do at Kingsway to be directed toward the students' good and welfare. Since the home has such a strong influence in a child's life, we desire to work together with you. Together we can work toward an excellent education for your student.

We at KCA are committed to giving every student our best effort and attention. We are available to assist you in every possible way in the educational process of your child.

Thank you for your confidence and may the Lord's blessings be manifested in all of us.

In His Service,
Thomas L Copeland
Dr. Thomas L Copeland, President

History & Overview

The school has been operating as Kingsway Christian Academy since 2001 and was formerly Orlando Christian School. Kingsway Christian Academy is associated with the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. We offer Pre-K 3 and 4 year old classes as well as Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our current enrollment is 400 students in the K3-8th grades. We also offer Extended Daycare before and after school and summer camp for those students enrolled at KCA.

Church Association

KCA is a ministry of Faith Creation Fellowship, an independent, interdenominational church, which has served the Pine Hills community for over 35 years. The church meets here in the gymnasium each Sunday at 10am and we would like to welcome you to worship with us if you are looking for a home church. We feel it is very important that each child and each family are involved in their local church. We desire our school to reinforce that which is being taught in the church and in the Christian home.

Curriculum & Objectives

Our main goal is the spiritual development of a student to meet his or her fullest potential in Christ. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) We do this by diligently teaching the A Beka curriculum in its entirety. This curriculum is an accelerated and challenging Bible based curriculum with the Word of God being integrated throughout the different subjects being taught. We expect the behavior of each student to be conducive to a positive learning environment. Also, all of our teachers are born again Christians who profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Reputation

We have a high standard of academic excellence. Annually, our students rank above average on the nationally ranked Standardized Achievement Test. Upon graduation, our students take with them an outstanding reputation to local public and private schools in the area. We hold a great standing throughout the community and obtain most of our new students by referral and word of mouth. We take great pride in our school and continuously strive to be one of the best Christian schools in Central Florida.

How to Enroll

We're excited you're interested in enrolling for the upcoming year! Here are the steps to enroll at Kingsway Christian Academy. We're here for support and guidance at every step.
Call Us: (407) 295-8901

We Look Forward to Meeting You!

If you have not already done so, please consider making an appointment to tour the school. We would very much like to meet you and encourage you to call for an appointment to tour our campus.

We appreciate your interest and hope to assist you any way we can. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at 407-295-8901.

Each applicant entering 1st – 8th grade must have a Student Recommendation completed by the current or most recent teacher or principal and parent. This must include a copy of the most recent report card and if possible the most recent test scores.  The Student Recommendation is only required of students in K5 if the school year has already begun.

Student Recommendation

Each applicant entering the 1st – 8th grade will be given an academic screening to determine if the applicant is working at the grade level consistent with KCA standards and the A Beka Curriculum. Students in K5 will only be screened if the school year has already begun. The fee is $25.00 and due at the time of the screening. Upon completion a member of the administration will interview the applicant and the parents as well as review the results of the screening. At that time it will be determined if it is necessary to continue with the enrollment process. Due to the structure and advanced demands of the curriculum, we are unable to accommodate students with IEPs, with the exception of Speech Therapy. Speech Therapy is available through the OCPS non-public school services.

Each family must complete an interview with a member of the administration. A time may be set up through the school office at 407-295-8901 or you may complete an Online Inquiry Form.  Appointment times are available Monday through Friday between 9:30am and 2:30pm while school is in session and last about 45 minutes.

Once the above steps are completed and a student has been accepted, you may click the link below to create the New Student Secure Online Application.

New Student Application

Upon completing the application, you will be directed to the online application fee payment center to pay the Application Fee. For tuition and fee information, please see our tuition and fees section.

For tuition payments we utilize a tuition management company, FACTS. If you will need to break down your tuition payments into monthly installments, you must set up an account with FACTS at www.online.factsmgt.com.

If your child has the Step Up For Students Scholarship, you must provide the office with a copy of the award letter. It may be emailed to us or provided in the school office.

The above steps must be completed, including the online application and all necessary fees paid, plus the required documents submitted either online or in the front office before enrollment is complete. No spaces are held until enrollment is complete.
